Best Laptop Computers For Cheap Skates

0

The Pavilion dv4 could well be one of the best laptop computers for cheap skates … I mean budget buyers. It comes with a 14 inch LCD and a 12 cell battery for longer battery life. The LCD resolution is 1280×800 which has been pretty standard on laptops for the past couple of years. It has glossy finish on the screen that was originally popularized by Apple’s Macbook and Macbook Pro laptops. For web designers and graphic artists it may be better to get a laptop with a matte screen to minimize the glare. The weight is a bit heavy at 6 pounds but is standard for an inexpensive laptop of this specification. The laptop comes standard with a 2.1 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB of RAM and 320GB hard drive space. Video outputs includes VGA and HDMI. Gamers should not expect much from the graphics which is not meant to handle recent demanding games. If you are planning to enjoy some movies on the road don’t expect much from the built-in audio volume or quality. It’s best to pack an extra set of head phones or portable speakers. Gigabit Ethernet has become standard on new laptops and this HP is no exception. It also sports USB, eSATA, PC Card slot, DVD burner, 802.11 b/g WIFI and the standard audio ports.
